Hello! Parents,
Warm greetings to you all. Trust
you had a great weekend.
Today, we reach a milestone. Our
online stories and magazines are up for your child at www.think-bag.com.
Before we go into the launch details, please
take time to read the quote below :
Stories have power. They delight,
enchant, touch, teach, recall, inspire, motivate, challenge. They help us
understand. They imprint a picture on our minds. Consequently, stories often
pack more punch than sermons. Want to make a point or raise an issue? Tell a
story. Jesus did it. He called his stories ‘parables’. — Janet Litherland
“Hare and the Tortoise”, “Monkey and the cap seller”, “The
thirsty crow “. Oh! No! We are not
taking you on a virtual tour of a zoo. These are the
stories that we heard from our parents and grandparents. The thirsty crow (the
story where the crow uses stones to raise the water level) conveys science as
well as problem solving.
Every child needs knowledge, cognitive, social and emotional
development with ability to be independent and appreciate interdependence. What better way than stories to enable the
child experience each of these spokes to complete the circle called life.
Is academic excellence alone sufficient for your child to travel
the journey called life? Imagine going on a trip with luggage but no
tickets! Stories are tickets to make the journey called life,
exciting. Stories can simplify academic concepts through fun-filled narratives.
We started writing stories for our kids and then we thought
“Why not reach it to your kids too?”
Look for Whee! – our story series and Wow! – our magazine
series
Happy Reading!
